A computer geek I might be...but I have more strings than a harp! When I need time to think or just to enjoy the world around me... I take my dogs for a walk up into the fields and sit under a hedge and watch, listen and to relax. I see buzzards, red kites, have the twitter of nesting birds all around me, the smells of flowers in trees in the hedge...even the whiff of muck...ha ha!

Walton Hall is a stately home in the county of West Yorkshire, near Wakefield. It was built in the Palladian style around 1767 on an island within a 26 acre lake, on the site of a former moated medieval hall and is accessible by a picturesque bridge. Reputed to be the very FIRST Wildlife Sanctuary. Now a Fine Hotel.
