A different look at the El Arish in Safaga, September 2008, resting on her port side at 115ft. Following the sad drowning of the Sanyo HD camera, the dive was shot on the Olympus compact at 640x480. Better visibility, although light levels under the port side hull are very low. This part of Egypt is quite deprived, but as usual, the people are great.
Dive in March 2008 on the little known ro-ro ferry lying on her port side in 35m (112ft) in Safaga, Egypt. Bottom visability not good at this time of year, huge soft (purple) corals on the props, great shoals of fish. The red filter is not much good at this depth so colours are blue/gray. Frame rate might be a bit slow?
Dive with Emperor Divers, Safaga, Egypt March 2008. At 17m the red filter has little eefect so colours are generally blue/grey. Look out for the large (3m) fantail rays at the end.
1st Firewall Reef dive of September. Bit of an educational voice over to start with. Due to death by drowning of HD Sanyo, all clips shot with good old Olympus at 4:3 640x480,hence colour correction at depth a bit iffy but OK around 7m upwards.
