Slight fixes (color, credits). This is an example of using crappy VGA 4:3 video and placing it in front of a 16:9 backdrop. The backdrop is heavily blurred to be less distracting. Part 2 of a 7 part series of videos I created, using old home movies that were shot on 8mm film by my father in the 50's and 60's. Here in part 2, I used various clips to create a video with a theme of... Smiling / Laughing.

Escargot hors d'oeuvres. This was filmed as happened in my garden. No real editing apart from fades when I had to move camera position.All shots hand held. Video stabilised with PD6 magic fix which corrected hand shake (often quite noticeable in HD). Shot @ 720p 30fps Sanyo VPC HD1000.

Diving in September 2007 on Hvar from Bol on Otok Brac. An early video at lower resolution than later videos in the Red Sea. No red filter but some colour correction. Not produced in PD6. Deeper 'wall' diving than reef diving in the Red Sea and therefore a bit bluer.

1st Firewall Reef dive of September. Bit of an educational voice over to start with. Due to death by drowning of HD Sanyo, all clips shot with good old Olympus at 4:3 640x480,hence colour correction at depth a bit iffy but OK around 7m upwards.
