Camera test in Eight Acre Lake
Metaphorically touching wood, took the camera out to test the underwater housing. It did not flood. My life is complete. Because the lake has a silty bottom, this is not like diving in the Bahamas or the Red Sea. Visibility is about 1-4 metres so.........

Well I made a bi-pod. This is my second prototype, a first for my Sanyo HD 2000, (will fit a 1010, and the 1000). Robert and Adrian will be receiving prototypes later this month or next to test and report. I made my first for a Toshiba Camileo HD Pro and used it out in the "field" videoing Puffins. You've used a tri-pod well this is better if you have a sports event to watch and record - no lost ball, no more fitful "missed the shot" moments. Now you can watch the game, see the ball and record everything. It honestly works a treat for sports events - that's what it was originally aimed at - to record events you also need to watch. Hope you all like it ... ok and laugh. Just so you know a HD action headcam costs $330 and doesn't have a LCD screen, can only record, is useless except attached to a helmet. The Toshiba I mentioned earlier cost's around $150. 720p etc. Note: the LCD screen can be flipped flush etc - it's just "out" to show me the angle I need to adjust. Dafydd
