We found that most 2064 bitrated mp4's were converted by YouTube to HD, just one awkward one (Robert's - ha ha) needed to be over 5000 kbps. Basically after a lot of checking by both Adrian (he did a lot of playing with size, bitrate and codec's) and I it was mp4's that proved successful. For the record Standard HD wmv files work really well when converted to mp4's at 2064kbps BUT when uploaded to YouTube as a wmv they only have a 50-50 success rate in conversion. DivX Pro - produced good results about 80% of the time BUT you had to buy the Pro version as the free DivX didn't output to a HD (even when using the free codec in Super) file that YouTube liked. Mp4 produced the goods.
