Yes, I know what you mean. I started out with a thought although I wasn't sure where it would lead but..... maybe a bit too 60's/art housey for todays tastes ?? (shows my age!)
Maybe you could add more visual effect (like the old film effect).
It would also be interesting to add a soundtrack of slow ambiant music (or only sound) in the background of the speech.
I like weird and original stuff! :)
